Water
Waterproofing and polyurea linings
A seamless membrane keeps water out where the joints in sheet systems let it in. We apply polyurethane membranes and polyurea linings from our GeoShield range over a prepared, primed surface, and finish them for sun, wear or chemicals where they need it.
When to call us
The signs
- Roofs, terraces and decks.
- Water tanks and reservoirs.
- Tunnels, basements and underground structures.
- Surfaces that need protection from abrasion or chemicals.
- 1Note 1: Concrete or steel prepared: cleaned, profiled, and tested for moisture and pull-off strength.
- 2Note 2: Primer (Stroxi) seals the surface and gives the membrane its bond.
- 3Note 3: Membrane (GeoShield polyurethane or polyurea), spray or hand applied, without seams.
- 4Note 4: Topcoat (Geothane) where the surface sees sun, wear or chemicals.
- 5Note 5: Joints, corners and penetrations are detailed first.
- 6Note 6: Thickness and adhesion checked as the work proceeds.
How we do it
Method, step by step
Prepare
Surface cleaned and profiled; moisture and pull-off strength tested.
Detail
Joints, cracks, corners and penetrations treated first.
Prime
Stroxi primer seals the surface and bonds the membrane.
Apply
Membrane or lining sprayed or applied by hand, without seams.
Topcoat
Geothane topcoat where the surface sees sun, wear or chemicals.
Check
Thickness and adhesion checked as the work proceeds.
What we use
Made at our plant in Alwar
Quality
Checks and proof
- Moisture and pull-off tests before priming.
- Wet and dry film thickness checked.
- Adhesion tested on the finished system.

Questions
What clients ask
Pure or hybrid polyurea?
Pure polyurea gives the highest chemical and abrasion resistance. Hybrid polyurea costs less and suits many roofs, decks and general waterproofing. We recommend one after seeing the surface and what it is exposed to.
Can polyurea be used inside drinking water tanks?
Only a system tested and certified for contact with drinking water. Ask us for the current test status of the polyurea proposed before you specify it for a drinking water tank.
Will the membrane bond to damp concrete?
Bond depends on the surface. We test moisture and pull-off strength first, and choose the primer for what we find.
